We got a great hatch with the Isbars. We ordered a dozen and received 15 from the breeder. Every one was developing and we ended up with 13 eggs hatching. I was hoping for some nice blacks and we only ended up with two. So the other eleven are various shades of blue. To fill the incubator we added some of our first Legbars eggs and ended up with three of them hatching.
I also added a couple of our large Jumbo green eggs and only one hatched. It is a very large chick with chipmunk stripes and puffy cheeks. I think this came from one of my Easter Eggers but I am not totally sure. We will have to see when it grows out some if we can identify who the parents are. Either way.. it is super cute and my fingers are crossed it does not end up a rooster so I can keep it around for a while.
